Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Homage Poster

With the release of the highly-anticipated Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, I wanted to share one of the posters I did leading up to the film's release. The artwork is inspired by one of my favorite Spider-Man covers ever from the Superior Spider-Man comic run from 2013. I love Ryan Stegman's Spider-Man art. I'm also a big fan of Jason Howard's alternate cover for the issue.

I thought the concept of 2099 perched on top of a gargoyle while Superior Spider-Man is hiding under him was so cool visually, and would make for another cool look if Miles replaced Otto instead. With Miguel O' Hara hunting Miles throughout the film, I thought it would be cool to have Miles be the one hiding under Miguel. But, with Miles preparing his venom-strike as shown in the poster.

Across The Spider-Verse is a film I've been highly looking forward to and I enjoyed making art relating to it.
